I’d like to share another photo with you as part of my “Hey, remember this?” series.

I’ve liked this photo since I took it at Ellie and Duncan’s wedding at Prestwold Hall in 2013.

It was taken during the best man’s speech and the gentlemen drinking a cup of tea is the bride’s father.

When I photograph weddings it’s about capturing memories and moments which are not staged. Photos which take you back to a special time in your life and bring a smile to your face and one which hopefully capture a person’s personality.

To me, this photo captures a special person (the bride’s father), laughing (always nice to capture) and drinking a cup of tea (an everyday action for most of us). Put all of the elements together it becomes a memorable part of a special day I hope for the bride and her family.

So whether you have a cup of tea or a glass of presecco, it’s really about capturing the people and the emotion at weddings.

I hope you like this photo and you can see more photos like this in my portfolio.
