A moment of triumph for father of the bride – “Hey, remember this?”
This photo is actually one from a recent wedding in March of Claire and Rob’s wedding at The Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel in Southwell.
I haven’t blogged this wedding yet, and as I have a few weddings in front of this one to blog, I really wanted to this photo with you sooner rather than later.
Claire and Rob got married at St. Michael’s Church in Halam just a few minutes drive from The Old Vicarage.
It was the moment when the vicar asks “who gives this woman to this man” and her dad gave a triumphant hands up to the congregation. I also captured Claire’s expression straight afterwards where she was laughing with her wedding guests at her dad.
These are priceless wedding photos that show the love and personality between families and why I love photographing weddings in a reportage style capturing natural reactions.
