Children in Bluebell Woods – Project 52, week 19

Hope everyone has enjoyed the sunshine this weekend – I’ve had a weekend off and it’s been so nice for the sun to be out at last….it makes such a difference to everyone’s mood and it’s nice to be in the garden at last.

The photos for week 19 of Project 52 were taken last weekend (also on a gorgeous day) when we ventured out to Bluebell Woods. I had a client photo shoot here 2 days before so I was really keen to bring my son here too before the bluebells disappeared.

Although flowers are not my son’s favourite thing (he’s a boy and boys don’t like flowers – so he keeps telling me when I get excited about all the flowers in bloom), he was absolutely brilliant naturally “working the camera” for these photos.

The photo which I have chosen for this week’s Project 52 photo was a favourite for me as soon as I took it. It was one of the last ones I took after asking my son to sit in the bluebells and the expression on his face melted me as soon as saw it. I told him we didn’t need anymore and we went to the park and had ice-creams.

I have blogged a bigger selection of photos from this photo session which can be viewed on my blog by clicking here.

Springtime is a gorgeous time of the year for children’s lifestyle portrait sessions and if you would like to book one for your children, please get in touch with my by completing the contact form on my website or by telephone on 07977 499473.
