Micro Wedding Photography in Leicestershire

Say “I do” with a micro wedding photography package

I offer tailored micro wedding photography collections from 2 hours of coverage, perfect for couples planning smaller, more personal ceremonies. Whether you’re getting married at the Town Hall in the heart of Leicester or at the country house hotel Hambleton Hall near Rutland Water, I’ll capture your special moments with a natural unobtrusive approach.

I’m a Nottingham-based wedding photographer making Leicestershire easily accessible via the A46.  With 15 years of experience photographing weddings, I would love to be a part of your celebrations.

What is Micro Wedding Photography?

Micro weddings are intimate celebrations with typically fewer than 30 guests, offering couples a perfectly tailored alternative to traditional all-day events. These smaller gatherings allow for a more personalised experience that truly reflects the couple’s vision.

I’ve had the pleasure of capturing these special moments, including a memorable celebration with just five guests in attendance proving that the magic of a wedding isn’t measured by its size but by those present.

What will a 2-hour wedding photography package cover?

Below is a guide as to how 2 hours of photography coverage works if you are having a civil ceremony in Leicestershire.

  • Arrival at the venue 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to capture you and your guests.
  • 30-minute ceremony.
  • 1 hour of photos at the venue following your ceremony.   With a smaller number of guests, this is usually plenty of time for couple portraits, family photos and/or candid photography of wedding guests.

You can add additional hours to this should you wish to. You tell me what parts of your wedding you would like covered and I will work with you so your day is photographed just the way you would like it.

5 Reasons why micro wedding photography could be for you

Micro wedding photography is suitable for many couples and whilst there are no set criteria as to who books shorter wedding photography coverage, it may work for you if you are:

  • only looking for a few hours of wedding photography coverage rather than all day;
  • having a low-key wedding with fewer than 30 guests in attendance;
  • eloping; A micro wedding photography package will focus closely on the couple with a collection of personalised photos.
  • want professional, high-quality photos without the full-day price tag. My micro wedding collection delivers the same high quality as full-day coverage, just with a more focused collection of images. or
  • booking a last-minute wedding photographer.

Choosing your wedding photography coverage

The beauty of modern weddings is that there’s no “one size fits all” approach.

All-day coverage captures the fuller narrative – the quiet morning moments, ceremony emotions, guest interactions, and evening festivities and it’s often the in-between moments which produce the most candid photos. Whereas micro wedding photography coverage focuses on the key moments of your ceremony and portraits.
