Chan and Adam’s Wedding Day

I had the pleasure of photographing Chan and Adam’s wedding at the stunning Stubton Hall wedding venue in Newark Nottinghamshire.

I first met Chan and Adam when I photographed their baby girl.   A few years later they contacted me again to photograph their second child, a baby boy.   I was delighted when they then asked me to be their wedding photographer.

Chan and Adam wanted their wedding day to be about spending it with their family rather than lots of formal photos which his exactly how I like to photograph weddings.

I arrived in the morning at Stubton Hall to start the day with Chan, her bridesmaids and family for the bridal preparations part of the day.   Everyone was  really relaxed with Chan and her young bridesmaids even having a little dance to Baby Shark!  After sharing plenty of laughter, some dancing and a few tears from Chan’s dad it was then time for Chan and Adam to exchange their vows.

As you’ll see from the photos below, Chan looked amazing and had a radiance about her all day.   Chan and Adam’s daughter led the bridal party into Stubton Hall’s ceremony room and it wasn’t long before Chan and Adam’s son wanted to join them at the alter.  It was endearing to watch Chan and Adam with both of their beautiful children at the alter sharing this important time in their lives together.

Following the wedding breakfast were some emotional and howling speeches including a set of photos presented on a projector by the best men to embarrass Adam!

It was then onto the evening entertainment for plenty of dancing … oh and a little paper football!

Below is a message I received after Chan and Adam had viewed their photos:-

“Thank you so much Alison, these are incredible and captured our lovely day perfectly and exactly how we wanted.”

Thank you to Chan and Adam for asking me to photograph their wedding day.   It’s been a pleasure to photograph the special events in their lives and I wish them all the happiness in the world together.

I hope you enjoy looking through the photos below.   If you are looking for a Stubton Hall wedding photographer, or any other venue, and like the style of my photos, please get in touch with me via my website.
