Walking from church – “Hey, remember this?”

I had the pleasure of photographing Anthony and Karen’s wedding earlier this year in Upton Nottinghamshire.

All the guests were walking from church to the marquee at home for their reception. As Anthony and Karen strolled down the country lane, their daughter whizzed by on a piggy back from her cousin.

I feel I’ve cheated a little on this one by sharing two photos but the first one is the when Anthony and Karen initially see their daughter overtaking them on a piggy back and the second one is where their daughter gets a little height and we can see her and her cousin both laughing.

It’s moments like these that I love and am looking for at weddings because in the blink of an eye they’re gone. Moments that tell a story of the day.
