Wedding at Belvoir Castle in Grantham of Vicky and Ed

Earlier in May I had the pleasure of photographing Vicky and Ed’s wedding at Belvoir Castle in Grantham.

Vicky and her bridesmaids arrived at Belvoir Castle after they had had their hair and make-up done at the salon so all that they needed to do before the ceremony was relax, open the bubbly and get dressed!

The ceremony was held in the Guard Room and following a beautiful service drinks and canapes were served in the Ballroom. Whilst the guests had a tour of the castle, Vick, Ed and I took this opportunity to capture some bride and groom portraits some of which were in the stunning Elizabeth Saloon. As you will see, Vicky looked beautiful and was perfectly suited to this room.

After the lovely weather we’re having at the moment, the coldness at the beginning of May seems a distant memory and it was certainly cold and wet on this day but fortunately the rain held off early evening allowing us to go outside to watch the Duke’s canons being fired.

Everyone then headed back inside to enjoy the evening entertainment where Vicky and Ed took their first dance together in the Old Kitchen and it wasn’t long before everyone joined them on the dancefloor.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Vicky and Ed for choosing me to be their wedding photographer. It was a pleasure to be part of your day and I wish you all the happiness in the world together. If would like to check my availability and speak with me about your own wedding photography, you can get in touch with me via the contact form on my website or by telephone on 07977 499473.
