Taking Church Nottinghamshire Wedding

In May I had the pleasure of photographing Jenny and Paul’s wedding in Eakring, Nottinghamshire.

The day started for me with Jenny at her parent’s beautiful home in Eakring where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids and family.

It was then onto St. Andrew’s Church in Eakring for the ceremony. I believe it was Paul’s cousin who sang during the ceremony whilst the legalities of signing the papers were taking place which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

After the ceremony, and in the glorious sunshine, everyone walked back from the church through the village to Jenny’s parent’s home for the celebrations to be begin. I have to say it was a lovely image to witness and photograph everyone walking through the village after a wedding.

It was sunshine all day and, after drinks and canapés in the garden, the wedding breakfast commenced in a marquee in the garden.

There were great speeches by everybody which led nicely into the evening entertainment where everyone joined Jenny and Paul on the dance floor after their first dance.
