Cookies are small text files placed on your computer’s hard drive when you visit a website.   Cookies are not programs and websites cannot gain access to information you didn’t provide to them nor can they access other files on your computer.    Cookies can store a wide range of information, including your name and contact details, however, this information can only be stored if you provide it.  

An example of how I use Cookies (but not limited to) is to obtain analytical information about visitors to my website so I can track what pages are viewed to help me market my business.

I use Google Analytics to analyse data about website visitors.

I also use the Facebook pixel to collect data on site visits by Facebook and Instagram users.
