WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN NOTTINGHAM
Wedding photography capturing how you felt and how incredible you looked
Where there’s love, there are moments to capture
Hello, I’m Alison, a Nottingham-based wedding photographer with over 15 years of experience. I also photograph weddings throughout Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire, as well as across the rest of the UK.
From intimate ceremonies at Nottingham Council House to relaxed countryside weddings at Stubton Hall, I work with couples who want their day captured naturally where the real moments shine through.
Searching for a wedding photographer often means finding someone who not only takes beautiful photos, but helps you feel completely at ease. The key is about discovering a style that resonates with you, where you can picture yourself in the photos you see. That’s when you start to feel excited about being captured at your best, surrounded by your favourite people.
If you are a couple who would like most of your wedding day documented naturally with beautifully styled portraits, you may find my approach to wedding photography appealing.
If this sounds like your kind of photography, I’d love to hear from you.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Natural wedding photos capturing real moments from a Nottingham-based photographer
Here’s how I tell the story of your day:

You’ll relive the moments you feel and the glances you didn’t see.
You’ll smile as you look back on the atmosphere of your day.

The emotions of your day will be captured naturally, without interference.
What’s it like to work with me?
Your experience matters just as much as your photos.
I’ll be with you and your guests throughout the day, so it’s important that you feel comfortable, not just in front of the camera but with me being at your wedding too.
On your wedding day, I’ll blend naturally into your celebrations, ensuring everyone feels relaxed while I capture your wedding day unfolding. I’m never over the top but always there to guide you through planning and get the most out of your location. If you’re worried about being in front of the camera (as many couples are), my personable nature will put you at ease without making things feel forced.
I photograph a mixture of naturally posed portraits and documentary photos but, being a bit of a people watcher I’m drawn to photographing weddings in a predominantly documentary style. Over the years, I’ve developed a pretty good instinct for anticipating moments from the way people interact with each other. I capture those small interactions that might otherwise go unnoticed, all without interrupting the flow of your day.
DOCUMENTARY. TIMELESS. ELEGANT.
Is my style right for you?
If you’re planning a wedding and value genuine, candid moments alongside classic and natural portraits –

About Alison
Nottingham Wedding Photographer since 2009
I believe that where there’s love, there are moments to capture and through photos, those memories grow in value with time.
When couples and families trust me to document an event for them, whether it’s a wedding, a newborn photoshoot or a family portrait, I approach it with a creative flair and thoughtfulness as I know the photos will become part of a family heirloom.
I’m relaxed and am frequently complimented on my warm and easygoing personality, which helps put people at ease in what can sometimes be an unnatural situation for them.
If you are looking for a Nottingham photographer to create some magical memories for you, I’d love to hear from you.
MORE THAN A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
When people ask what photography genre I specialise in, I always say “people” because for the past 16 years, I’ve photographed them at every stage of life. While weddings and newborns usually take centre stage, I also work with families and professionals for personal branding sessions.
