Why book an engagement shoot?
An engagement session, or pre-wedding shoot, is a chance to get any camera nerves out of the way before your wedding day; it’s also just a really lovely thing to do in its own right.
How often do you actually get professional photos taken of just the two of you (excluding selfies or the odd tipsy phone photo)? On your wedding day you’ll have plenty of gorgeous photos together in your wedding attire but an engagement shoot documents a different chapter. It’s the period of being engaged, in your everyday clothes, whether that’s a casual country walk, a spring picnic or dressed up for a night out.
Some couples pick somewhere meaningful to them. Some head into the city for an afternoon, wandering the streets, popping into a gallery, ending up somewhere with a good cocktail menu. Others go for woodland or a country park.
The cost of an engagement shoot is £350 for a location in Nottingham and includes approximately 25 digital images.
