1 Year Old Photoshoot
A 1 year old photoshoot is a beautiful way to capture this special milestone as you have watched your baby grow into his own character with smiles and a personality to melt your heart.
Just over a year ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Farah’s pregnancy photos. She later relocated to Cambridge and asked me if I would travel there for a 1 year old photoshoot for her son. I was more than happy to and after a little research into places to go, we met at Milton Country Park which was pretty perfect for the photos of Farah and her son.
When I received this lovely review, I wanted to share it with everyone as Farah has perfectly put into words why it’s so important to have photographs – thank you.
“A Photograph is the pause button of Life – unknown
Thank you Alison Edwards Photography for driving all the way from Nottingham to Cambridge to cover [my son’s] birthday shoot and being extremely patient with a toddler. Thank you for putting life into the moments from my pregnancy till now, the moments which are gone forever but always be cherished for the rest of our lives through your photographs. I couldn’t decide which pictures are best for the printouts because your professionalism and care shine through with every picture that you have taken.
Thank you
Let me introduce you to the gummy smiles …
Mummy & Me Photos at your baby’s 1 Year Old Photoshoot
Whilst celebrating your baby turning one, it’s so important to be in the photos too. Farah looks amazing and it was beautiful to be able to capture the happiness in photos which she and her son share together.
The dog in the image below was not part of the photoshoot but it was nice to photograph Farah’s son watching him as he went into the water (and yes the dog had a little shake afterwards!).
Outdoor cake Smash Photos
Farah brought along cake, a party hat and balloons for the photos and wanted to celebrate her son’s birthday with a cake smash photo. So as not to get his gorgeous outfit messy, we did this at the end of the session so that he could properly make the most of the chocolate cake and it’s fair to say that I think he was happy with this!
Thank you again Farah for asking me to photograph you and your beautiful boy – it was an absolute pleasure!
Hope you have enjoyed looking through these photos and if you are interested in a family photoshoot, you can view more of my work on my family photography page.
