Classic wedding photos

Classic wedding photos are those I like to share as part of my “Hey, remember this?” series.

This photo was taken as Shireen and Paul were leaving St. Mary’s Church in Arnold Nottingham and, is I feel, a simple confetti shot from a series of classic wedding photos.

Something which I often talk about to prospective couples looking to book me as their wedding photographer is how I want my photos to stand the test of time.

The fact that I still love this photo 9 years on is a good reflection of my work and why I have chosen not to follow the trends of wedding photography.  I want couples to look at their wedding photos I still love them the same way as they did when they first saw them whether that is 1 year, 5 years, 10 years or 20 years down the line.

Remember colour popping?   This was a trend many years ago and, whilst I’m sure there are people who still love it, I think there are many that are cringing slightly at this now.

When choosing a wedding photographer you need to consider how you would like to remember your day and how you would like your photos to portray your day.

Hope you like this as much as I do and if you would like to see more, take a look at my wedding portfolio.
