Rock My Dress with Lisa – Nottingham Portrait Photography

Earlier this year, I met Lisa at a wedding fair.  We got chatting and Lisa told me she was already married but she would like to wear her dress again and do something a little different than her wedding photos … and she would like water involved!  Cue me!

After choosing a location, we met up a couple of weeks ago and headed off into some fields for the first part of the portrait session where we took some beautiful portraits of Lisa.  The second part of the portrait session took place in a nearby stream with a small waterfall.  From start to finish, Lisa was brilliant in front of the camera and she was great to photograph.  You had to be in the water to appreciate how cold it was in there (it was freezing!) but Lisa did not hold back at all and she managed to look stunning throughout.  We had a really good laugh doing these and I was spoilt for choice choosing photos.   Lisa did text me when she viewed her private gallery online to say, “OMG! I love the pictures.  I nearly cried when I saw them.  I looked better than my wedding day!”  In the nicest possible way, it’s great to get a crying reaction when people view their photos!

Would you like a similar photo session FREE?

This style of photography, is also known as “Trash the Dress” or “Love my Dress” in the photography industry but as there was both love and trash involved in this photo shoot, I have opted for the “Rock my Dress” title.  This is the first time I have done one of these style shoots and I thoroughly enjoyed it.    I am therefore offering a FREE ‘Rock my Dress’ session to the first 2 people who contact me.  The only conditions are that the session must take place Monday to Friday in July 2011 in the Nottingham area, you must be a FACEBOOK fan (which you can join by the link to the right) and, of course, you will need a wedding dress;-) Your photo session doesn’t have to be in water (and you don’t have to trash it); the photo session is purely about you doing something different than you did on your wedding day ….and, of course, it’s good to wear your wedding dress again!
