Shottle Hall is a stunning Victorian country house rich in history and romance.
Set within four acres of landscaped gardens and 14 acres of parkland, on the edge of the Peak District national park, every room has a view across the glorious Ecclesbourne Valley.
Originally built by the Sixth Duke of Devonshire, Shottle Hall forms part of the famous Chatsworth House Estate, the jewel in Derbyshire’s crown.
But there is more to Shottle Hall than the local landscape. Behind its impressive facade the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, evoking all the comforts of a luxury country home.
Built in 1841 Shottle Hall has been host to many wedding receptions, family celebrations and parties throughout its 150 year history.
Lovingly refurbished in 2005 the hall has been appointed with a fusion of traditional elegance and contemporary design and has a light-drenched, yet homely appeal. The stunning period features of the property have been retained throughout.
