Baby photos – 10 weeks old
Quite often I will have parents contact me because they missed the newborn stage of photography. Parents will understandably get caught up in the whirlwind of parenthood not having given newborn photography a thought and suddenly discover the cuteness of newborn photos.
What happens then is that they start looking for a newborn photographer only to realise that newborn photography takes place in the first few weeks. When babies reach 10 weeks old they have changed so much and are also so much stronger which is why the typical newborn photos are often not achievable as they will push themselves out of curled up poses.
However, this shouldn’t stop parents from having professional photos of their baby whilst they are still young. At 10 weeks old, babies are still babies. I’ve photographed quite a lot of babies at this stage and, as you will see from the photos below, they are equally as gorgeous as the curled up newborn photos.
We were actually quite lucky during this session as this baby boy fell to asleep so I was still able to photograph some beautiful sleeping photos too as well as gorgeous awake photos … and his eyes and eyelashes both looked amazing!
