The Gilstrap Registry Office – Wedding of Siobhan and David – Part 1

The Gilstrap Registry Office Wedding

The gorgeous wedding of Siobhan and David took place last year at The Gilstrap Registry Office.

I’ve decided to split the blog post in two parts as there’s quite a few photos to share so this part is from the bridal preparations and the wedding ceremony at The Gistrap Registry Office. The second part will be of the drinks reception which took place at Floral Media in Newark.

I started the day with Siobhan and her family and bridesmaid at her mum’s house in Lincoln and then headed over to The Gislstrap Registry Office in Newark.

This was the first time I had photographed at The Gilstrap Registry Office and the weather from arrival till leaving was beautiful.

Siobhan and David stepped away from tradition slightly during the ceremony by walking in and down the aisle together and it was a lovely ceremony celebrating their love.

Following the ceremony, there was a real surprise for them walking out of the ceremony as their Morris dancer friends (who were performing in Newark that day) were waiting for them having created an archway for them to walk under. As you can imagine, this was not only received well by them but also by all of their guests leaving the ceremony to go into the gardens.

After some Morris dancing and plenty of mingling with their guests, Siobhan and David walked out of the gardens where their car was awaiting them to take them to Floral Media for the drinks reception.

Below are a selection of photos I have chosen to share from this part of their wedding day which I hope you will enjoy looking through.
