The Good Shepherd and Goosedale Wedding Photographer

With a newly updated website (well nearly finished, I’m still updating some of the galleries), I’m finally getting round to sharing some of my work (it’s long overdue!).

The first wedding to share with you is the lovely Laura and Dan whose wedding I photographed in September 2017.  The weather was a mixture of heavy rain, showers and bright sunshine with blue skies but it seemed to all work out at the vital parts of the day.

I started the day with Laura, her bridesmaids and family at her parent’s family gorgeous home.   At this point it was heavily raining although that didn’t dampen the mood whilst everyone was getting ready.

I then met Dan and the groomsmen at The Vale pub just down the road from The Good Shepherd Church where they were getting married.   It had been a while since I had been to The Good Shepherd andit really is a stunning church.

There was another shower when Laura arrived at church so it was a quick dash in by everyone.

The ceremony was beautiful and I could really see the love for Laura and Dan by their friends and family.

As Laura and Dan left the church, it was bright skies and sunshine and if you have a look at the photos below, you’ll see a couple of the bridesmaids reactions to this when they came out – a bit of a “yes, it’s sunshine!” reaction.

Following the ceremony., a drinks reception and party was held at The  Goosedale Nottingham.  This is a fantastic venue for weddings and the gardens are looking lovely since the update.

What continued for the rest of the day was fantastic speeches (with plenty of laughter and a few tears), a lot of fun outside throwing the bouquet and then a good party on the dance floor!  I had a feeling this family would be hitting the dance floor and they didn’t disappoint.

A really fantastic wedding for two lovely people.    Thank you to Laura an Dan for asking me to photograph your wedding.   It was a pleasure.

It’s been hard narrowing down my selection of photos to share here but I hope they give you a good feeling of a lovely wedding.  As you will see from the photos, Laura looked stunning.

If you are looking for a wedding photographer and like what you have seen, please do get in touch.   I also have an extensive portfolio of photos; a good place to start is the wedding day highlights  if you haven’t seen these yet.

If you like my post, you can share this with using the social media links at the end of the post.
