Nuthall Church Wedding | Jen and David
It’s been a while since I did a full blog post on the weddings I have photographed this year. I’ve quite a lot of weddings to show and I’m going to start with what was an amazing day from start to finish at Jen and David’s wedding in April.
The day started for me when I met Jen and her bridesmaids at the Hogs Head in Awsworth in Nottingham for the bridal preparations. With 7 bridesmaids getting ready, it was very busy and lots of fun.
Jen and David were married at St. Patrick’s Church in Nuthall which is a beautiful church. With laughter (and a few tears) during the ceremony Jen and David became Mr and Mrs. After the ceremony, it was just a few minutes walk for everyone to St. Patrick’s Church Hall where the reception and celebrations began.
Jen and David, along with the help of the their friends and family had decorated the Hall beautifully with so much attention to detail with the decor.
Jen and David had a few formal photos but the essence of the day was to capture them with their wedding guests enjoying the day.
Following a great set of speeches by Jen’s sister, David and David’s best man the evening entertainment began and the dance floor filled and, although I was only there until the first dance, I imagine it was like this till very late!
I received a lovely email from Jen after she had viewed her photos:-
